Minutes committee meeting 8th November 2012.
Meeting held at Greg Newbold's home at Tusmore Adelaide.Meeting opened at 7.50 pm.
Present were: Greg Newbold. Brian Holecek. Ray King. Lindsay Tilley. Baylee Roberts. Emilis Prelgauskas. Rob Wintulich.
Apologies were received from Bob Jenneson.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and accepted. Moved Lindsay Tilley and 2nd by Ray King.
Business arising:The finding of a replacement treasurer for Bob Jenneson is ongoing.
Constitution: Brian Holecek is nearing completion of our new constitution. Greg Newbold is keeping track of "SMS"s, as BVGC will be first to reveal their strategies on this front.
Lindsay Tilley suggested advertising our club on red balloon, local paper , radio and maybe the tourist bureau.
Rob Wintulich is going to pursue the purchase of a harness and fitment of our new aircraft radio.
Greg Newbold reported that we were unsuccessful in the latest round of grants.
Emilis Prelgauskas gave a report on the expedition of 4 members flying north to the morning glory.
Baylee Roberts reported on progress of the form 2 inspection for FFQ undertaken by Steve Burgess.
Rob Wintulich raised the subject of large dollar amounts still not paid for flying fees.
Greg Newbold wishes to prepare for the next round of grants, so all agreed.
The next meeting to be held at the same venue on the 10th of January 2013.
Meeting closed at 9.20 pm.
