Minutes MBGC committee meeting May 23rd 2013
Apologies: Steve Blacketer.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and accepted, so moved Ray King and 2nd by Lindsay Tilley.
Treasurer's Report: Bob Jenneson reported no outstanding debts with all members now in the black.
CFI Report: Lindsay Tilley reports we have 3 new air cadets and 1 air cadet officer now in training. Emilis is now instructing in the club 109. Greg Newbold is training for his right hand seat conversion.
Secretary Baylee Roberts reported that all is well with the paper work.
SAGA Report: Emilis spoke re the new hangar keepers liability and 3rd party insurance. it is less expensive than the present policy. further debate on this subject was deferred to the next AGM/ GM, the date to be set.
General Business: Constitution: The final draft of our new constitution was tabled after errors had been corrected at the previous meeting at Bob Jenneson's house. Rob Wintulich is to contact David Bache re legal issues with the draft. The final draft is then to be sent to all members of the MBGC and feed back to be collected well prior to the AGM/GM.
Moved Bob Jenneson and 2nd Baylee Roberts that we hold our AGM/GM at the Murray Bridge Gliding Club in the Windsock Lounge on the 10th of August 2013 at 5pm. Rob Wintulich will organise a post BBQ dinner.
The next committee meeting is to be held on the 14th July 2013 to rehash any issues with the new constitution if need arises.
Greg Newbold revealed that no grants were submitted this round. He will do so next round.
Meeting closed at 9.00pm. Thanks to Greg for the venue and hospitality. It was noted that a wake for the late Roger Stokes would be held at the airfield on June 1st at 10am.
