Murray Bridge Gliding Club Inc.

President opens meeting  7.45pm

1.0 Minutes of October 2015 meeting
moved  Greg      seconded Ray    accepted

Matters arising

1.1  - stand alone term deposit account
Greg to begin with $10k @ 2.7%, leaves small operating account amount
moved Lindsay     seconded Ray   accepted

1.2  - FFQ new leg fairing
fairing has been made, Rob intends to fit in coming weeks

1.3  - airworthiness admin duties   Rob to approach Steve B ROB

1.4   - software to update club website     BJ
awaiting upgrade cycle

2.1  - monthly flying log photos
At the beginning of each month Lindsay will photograph FFQ log and pass to Greg

2.2  - club safety review     
Rob to do SMS prep to circulate to members     ROB

2.3   add loudspeaker / Piezo alarm onto existing read out unit  PETER

2.4  Rob to provide Antell with a letter that MBGC is a not-for profit.
This is to assist obligations to airfield owner with volunteers on the airfield ROB

return GFA TIF forms for new ones - done

2.7  MBGC club TIF Certificate to be updated for download
Lindsay to give BJ the current form  ROB tidy up and create downloadable version   
3.0 President report
Lindsay & Rob did 320km on Saturday
Mick Jones spoke to Rob about increasing involvement in club processes

4.0 CFI report
With engine issues now managed, FFQ is available for solo flying as well as training dual.
Hot weather policy remains - no flying training >35 deg,
but available for cross country flight where advised by independent operators   ALL

Existing in-hangar winch - part has been paid to Steve B except for electric component
There is another electrical winch in hangar and one in T-hangar.
Club to enquire with Steve B for account to clear ownership   EMILIS

Dolly is grounding at hangar door - may need raising up    LINDSAY

GFA advisory sent to clubs about CASA 'ramp check' for alcohol/drug behaviours.

Lindsay will instruct on day after Christmas - only if pilots book
New roster for 2016 to be created for club web site.

Club member email addresses   Lindsay/Greg/BJ to coordinate master list
      master list to be created for Hon. Sec         BJ

5.0 Airworthiness report
engine 50 hourly, to be combined with the item below
engine temp experience - CHT now stays in range
BJ will do independent temp measure during 50 hourly
BJ has received approval for larger sump/heat exchanger to help oil temp range

6.0 Treasurer report
basing fee paid, rises by CPI, insurance paid
Baylee, BJ, Lindsay, Greg are signatories to NAB accounts.

7.0 Any Other Business
FFQ GPS at times 'freezes' in use    Lindsay to check firmware updates
